no option to run stickers on the car.

I think we're about to see a flood of early Chevys at NMCA since they're allowed to run the least expense engine to make power, because of the most available speed parts. I love the 59-64 Chevys -- but in the day they ran the W-motor because that was their best motor. It just doesn't seem to be a change in the spirit of tradition.

On the AMX -- there were a lot of drivers (I wasn't really one on this) who felt it wasn't right for TD Holland to be running one carb, because the few AMXs that run in the day had the Group 16 2X4 carb set up. This change is going to piss off a lot of drivers (not really me on this one) who feel like when they complained about NMCA letting someone run outside of the rules -- that the NMCA's response was to change the rules. Just reporting the facts on this one -- there are going to be a lot of people pissed -- especially since it was so political that AMXs were allowed to run NSS in the first place.

I guess the part that personally pisses me off most -- is that it appears that NMCA doesn't understand the tradition of NSS -- yet feels comfortable to change to rules to accommodate someone with what to others is a major rule change -- without listening to the NSS drivers. It would appear that they just don't care what the NSS drivers think, or they would include them.

Then again if they included the rules committee on this -- then it is they and not the NMCA who was wrong.
