Chevy only really had one Mark IV BIg Block for the cars, they did have a truck block which had a higher deck on the block. They did have different heads and bore and stroke sizes. You could get a 396 (400 402 called in later years) 427 and 454. Maybe that's why Chevies are so cheap as Y'all think they are. Get one, get it right, use it for years.
Guess when you got it right you didn't need to put out a B RB Hemi and whatever else Mopar did to try and keep up.
