Default Poll - Class Racing Vs. Bracket Racing in NSS

I've been making calls for the last couple of days -- twisting arms to go to the AHRA race (more on that in another thread -- soon).

The topic of other calendars have come up -- and I've indicated that I (and Dallas) was strongly considering running a 5-race series in NSS. More than a couple of times -- I was told that they wouldn't run it because it was a bracket race and not a Class race or that they didn't adopt the "Universal Rules". While I would much rather run a Class than a bracket -- I don't know that it is a deal killer for me -- and I'm not real sure what differences in cars there is from the "Universal Rules". I believe that the Chrysler Classics is like that too -- but they're really not NSS -- but Nostalgia Wedge and Hemi races.

I asked why they do bracket timing and got a variety of reasons -- from the tower can't handle it -- to the promoter is convinced that he'll attract more NSS racers.

Now I don't want to stir up a hornets nest on this -- but it would appear that putting the Class' time on the car would get around the tower's issue of not being able to handle class racing -- and a poll would give the true opinions racers have on Class vs. Race.

So that said, if you have a car that is legal to run NSS -- please take the poll and give your opinion on timing at NSS type of events.
