The Cuda had problems near the led seams at the bottom of the window channel. When we stripped it down we found it covered in fiberglass. Once I started poking at it, and finally melted all the led off. I end up fixing the channel, then cutting a 4" strip from the channel all the way down to the trunk lip. Everything under the led was eaten up, but the led was holding it in place so it didnt look too bad.

I had to use the window trim to form a new lip. I got lucky and about two weeks before caught the Eastwood Shrinker stretcher combo on sale and bought them. I don't know how I ever did without them! Real life saver.

RTC it is sure looking fine. I would have never thought to do it in sections like you are doing. I have only painted a solid color 2 times now. Everything else was metallic so they had to be done in one coat to keep the flake from looking funny. I like the way you are doing it. Cant wait to see it finished.
