Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Thank you for the complement. If you are serious about acquiring a pontoon boat in the near future you may consider looking now. Don't know how handy you are but there's some deals out there. At that other site some of the people bought well used toons and totally rebuilt them. They sometimes get them for a song and admittedly look awful rough. But by the time they do a total rebuild they look and appear new. A person can do this for far less money than buying new. And you have the satisfaction of having done it yourself and setting it up to your personal needs. If I knew then what I know now I never would have bought new.

Boat?............last thing in the world I needed was a boat...........
but............Conway came in a few months ago..said his buddy, Doc, wanted to sell or trade his boat............I gave the usual comments............
We now have a 21.5 Chris Craft, slip at the marina and a great fishing place....all in trade for painting his 65 Mustang.......and the slip fees are due.............ain't life grand?
Pontoon boat is really nice. Having this one is to be able to enjoy pleasant moments on the water in company of your family or friends. With your pontoon boat, you can go fishing, water skiing or boarding, swimming, reach a beach, ride on rivers and lakes and, best of all, you can spend your vacations on your boat.
I know, it is very safe and stable.

Still have my Ranger bass boat powered by a 2.4 Merc Bridgeport. Family boat is a Rinker 190 with a cheby V-6. It is very nice boat to take around to all the bars on the lake where we spend most of our time at in the summer.
Lets see I have a 15' Jon boat with a 35 Evinrude, a 16 ' skiff with an 80 Mercury and my baby is a Hydrastream V-king with a 150 Black Max built to putting out around 200HP with a 5 !/2" set back, jack plate and a 15" diameter 26" pitch big eared mercury prop. Runs 78 MPH, but I'm looking at swapping to a 14 1/2 chopper prop with around 28" pitch to get more top end.

We'll I got a cardboard shack on Lake Texoma, and got 3 boats
1.1978 Glastron CVX 16 w/ inline 6 150 mercury outboard
2. 1968 slickcraft 180SS w/inline 140 mercury outboard
3. Trisonic with Roy Rogers hull Trigger boat, W/ 140 mercruiser
I get boats and motors out of the junk yard I love the old inline mercs and they suck gas but I get them cheap all you need is a compression guage when I go to the junk yard and if the old 2 cycle outboards got good and even compression, I bring them home if I think I may have a need for them , and any boat does not scare me, as I have been into fiberglass and composites for 30 years. thats how I got my 1968 slick craft I said I want that boat, that trailer and that motor and got it for $600.00, I put $600 more gatering up parts sandblasted and painted trailer, and it has not missed a beat for four summers I did put a new water pump impellor in the spring,
I've had a few through the years but finally found one that doesn't break the bank. I have two (don't laugh) Portabotes. Yes, bote. One 8' for small ponds and one 14' for the intracoastal and lakes. The 9.8 Tohatsu goes all day on a few gallons of gas. Doesn't leak, glides over oyster banks and reefs and won't puncture. Takes on large waves and wakes well. Planes almost instantly and rides smooth. Strap it to the roll bar of the Wrangler, put the motor on a hitch haul and off to parts unknown. Guess you can tell I love it and so does the wife. There could be gorgeous high dollar craft next to it at a dock but everyone gathers around the Portabote and wants to know about it. That's the only thing I don't like about it.
