Only an 8' Walker Bay sailboat. I have had boats from a 18' Robalo to a 33' Tiara Open Fisherman. My Favorite was My Betram, Second was my Albermarle 24, third was the Tiara 3300, worst ever was my Brand New Robolo... what a piece of crap. I have had a bunch in between.

I am glad to be rid of all of them.

"A boat is a hole in the water unto which one pours money into"

I do look forward to buying me a house boat when I retire, puttering out to the middle of the lake, dropping anchor and leaving the world behind for weeks at a time.

I have got two friends who have retired onto their boats, one is in Honduras, and the other ??? He was in the Bahama's last time I talked to him. HE has a house in rockport also, I think 46stude got me his number once, but he never answered. He may be the next CastAway.

I live in Franklin, do most of my fishing at Lake Wilhelm and Pymatuning. I also live about 3 blocks from a boat launch for the Allegheny River ,we also have some good lakes near me ( Kahle Lake and Tamarack Lake) that are electric motors only which are pretty good for walleye and pan fish....also Lake Aurthor down your way near Butler off 422.

My Dad and Step-Mom had a camp at Wild-wood Camp Grounds (Ohio side ) up to a few years ago. It's just past the causeway on (rt 269 ) They use to go to that drive-in , it was just down the road from them. Fishing is real good in the spring, I was catching 15" crappy this year and the walleye's were pretty nice too, a lot of 18" to 20". I like to troll a lot with hot-N-tots and also do some jigging with minnows

Yeah, kinda figured that's were you were at.... Dad passed away three years ago and just before he did he decided to sell his camper and I didn't really want it at the time but sure wish I would have taken it.....it's a long story with worthless step-brothers so I'll just leave it at that...

How long you been up there?

Here's a link to my Pontoon Houseboat project that Maybe you all would like seeing. I also have a 25' pontoon boat that we've used for the last few years. But I figure we may be selling it once the houseboat is up and running and proves reliable.
