Just to give y'all an update from last week. My great-aunt came in from Tampico on Thursday the 2nd, the day my aunt passed. We spent all of that time waiting on the dadgum county hospital to sign the death certificate. They finally tracked down the doctor who presided over my aunt when she passed just yesterday, the 9th and he signed off the certificate. So as it stands, my great-uncle from Lafayette, LA. is coming in tonight. Tomorrow we will have a service for her. And on Monday, we will bury her.

Just got back from the internment service a few hours ago. A lot of family and family friends showed up on Saturday for the funeral home service. At the internment this morning, I spoke a few words saying how grateful I was that she was there when I needed someone around. You know they say there's nothing closer than family and I see why. Thanks y'all for all your thoughts and prayers.
