The make a long story longer -- I recently converted the
www.oldhippie.com site to
www.conservativeoldhippie.com (a throw down domain name that I had) to get off a different board and portal application. In a month or so -- the domain name
www.oldhippie.com will ALSO point to this site. Right now it has been left up (albeit closed to new posting) for reference.
When I did converted the site to the new applications -- I realized how much better this board ran than MoPower Style did using the same applications. The reason was because the database for MoPower Style is over 7 years old -- and has been modified 100s of times over the years. In time, a database sort of looks like underdash wiring after 30 years of stereo and radar detector upgrades -- plus mice.
www.MopowerStyle.com is migrating to
www.MoparStyle.com -- and since this is a multi-make forum, it makes more since to host the NSS-Monster forum here than at a Mopar site.
A word of caution -- the focus of this board
was mostly political, and there is still a political board that is actively posted too. However, it is possible to completely avoid it and not even know it is here! If you are not a political animal -- you might want to stay out of that one forum. Especially if you are not conservative -- as the forum is weighted in that direction with the members who post there. You can actually collapse it so that you never see it -- and the posts made in that forum do not appear in the index. That is the only board that politics are allowed to be spoken in -- and the moderators will move or delete (at their descretion) political posts found in the other boards.
While not giving up on politics here as it is a passonate subject with a loyal following on this board -- we are trying hard to change the ratio of posts more towards the American cars, bikes, planes, motorhomes, boats, forums.
We hope all NSS & NMC Drag racers will visit and post to the board regularly.
