| | It has been a long and expensive seven years -- but we're rounding third and heading for Home.
Mark (and Ken before him on the blasting and body work) has done an excellent job -- and this will be an attention getter showcasing a quality build.
And every now and then someone claims that there is no such thing as a 60 Plymouth 2dr wagon. They're wrong -- 60 was the last year for the Plymouth 2-door wagon. This is an exact copy of that car -- using a 2-door post for the correct parts found in the 2 door wagon. | | | | Senior Member | | Join Date: Nov 2008

| | Door Number One, Two or Three?? I'll admit it!!! But like any good Conservative, I figured a little fact checking and research first. Pretty interesting stuff. The 2 door was built for government and municipal applications like police, government/military transport, correctional facilities etc. (not much of a chance of opening the door and jumping out without a door...). Civilians could special order them, and they were very popular with tradesmen like electricians, plumbers and, not surprisingly, funeral homes.
And it was in these types of special order rigs where many of the high performance big block parts got their shakedown under names like "police interceptor package" or "severe use option".
You know me and station wagons. I'm really looking forward to seeing it "haul"
