DUMPSTER This is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.

Default Non-Traded REITS

Non-Traded REITs Are Designed to be Sold, Not Bought | REIT Wrecks

I'm involved in two REITS that pay monthly interest -- and my broker says he wants to talk to me about another, but he wanted me to read the above link before we talk.

I obviously have many questions to ask him -- but the fact that he sent this to me makes me feel like my REITS are defined as "Non-Traded".

So what do some of you investors know about this subject?

I'm in a couple of REITs that appear to do well. One is a Dallas compoany called Cornerstone that buys land in Texas and develops it into large subdivisions -- selling the whole package.

I just put $100,000 in a REIT that is developing a medical building connected to a hospital.

The both of those pay a good monthly income and have a ten year plan to return all of the principle plus profit.
