DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Many members have no idea what Muscle Cars the other Members have. Now is our chance to introduce our Muscle Cars to the membership. Copy and Paste (into a new post on this thread) below the dashed line to introduce us to your Muscle Car.

Hot motor and trans, 8.75" rear, stereo from 99 Durango, Custom digital dash, Keystone Klassic Wheels, March Serpentine belt system, -- always a work in progress. When I die -- this car will be in my garage.
Year/Make/Model: 1964 Chrysler Imperial Convertible Exterior Color: Dark Metalic Green Interior Color: Dark Green Engine: 413 Transmission: 727 with typewriter shifter Rear End: 8.75" Options: ALL How long have your owned: 3-4 years Tell us about it: I bought it off the mechanic who was helping a woman in her 90s sell the car. She had just moved to a Nursing Home. I paid $9,000 for it and had to bring it down from CT.
In 1964, her husband gave her this Imperial and a 65 Town and Country wagon to her for her 50th birthday. (The mechanic says they were very wealthy with homes in VA, Long Island, and CT.) He died a year later and she never bought another new car -- but drove these cars. She mostly drove the wagon. She was now in a nursing home and the mechanic was an old man who'd been her personal mechanic since the 60s. The car only had like 80,000 miles on it and he'd come once a month to pick it up, service, drive -- then return to her garage. I had to fix the pump system for the top and replace some power window switches.
The car is a hoot to drive. For over 25 years, I've always had a full size Chrysler convertible for my Sunday driving. First a 67 Newport, then a 64 300, then a 65 300, and now this. There's nothing like a Sunday morning blasting down a country road at 70 with the top down in a Chrysler/Imperial barge.
I always like the 64-66 Imperial, which were the last of the body on frame Mopars -- and was especially looking for a good 64 as it was the only push button drive. Like the 67 Marlin that I just acquired -- I spent over 10 years looking out for the right one before spotting this on eBay (as was my 67 Marlin). Patience pays.
I love this car -- but I can see me upgrading to the same car a little nicer in black, of finding my Holy Grail -- a 1965 300L convertible with a 4-speed.
Year/Make/Model: 1967 AMC Marlin Exterior Color: Campaign Interior Color: Dusty Rose/Tan Engine: 343 CI Transmission:Torque Command 727 Rear End: Don't know yet -- I think Dana 44 Options: Power Windows, Tilt Steering How long have your owned: 3 weeks Tell us about it: I've spent ten year looking for a 67 Marlin. The 65-66 Marlins were on the short Rambler Classic -- but in 67 the Marlin was put on the longer AMC Ambassador platform. I'm the third owner of this car -- but will show second owner on the title. The original owner was from Florida. When he died his widow sold the car to a collector in Colorado -- who never transferred the title. He's dying of Lou Gerrig's diesese and and liquidating his collection of over 70 cars. The car has 67000 miles and drives like a dream. I paid $8,600 plus gave Dallas $1100 to go get it.

Tell us about it: This was truly a barn find but I didn't find it , a buddy was looking for a GTS and found it. He didn't want it so he told me about it. It had a 71- 340/6 pack , Had the 340 rebuilt and put a edelbrock TM-5 intake and edelbrock 750... like a idiot I sold the 6 pack. Also upgraded the 3:23's to the present 3:91's ....Car was originally B-5 blue with the white stripe. The only thing I had to do in the interior was redo the dash pad and I had it done by "jushdashes
That is one fine looking Dart. I consider that a "real" musclecar.
Anything newer that '72, isn't a muscle car in my opinion. I had a quick & nice '81 Mirada with the 360/380 crate engine, 727TF, 8 3/4 (3:55) rear, but I never considered it a musclecar.
