Its in for service right now:
1.The water in the fuel light is on (they have a dryer recall)
2. Slight leak in water heater
3. Pocket doors need adjustment
4. Cabinetry hardware on two doors need replacing
5. A couple of sticky windows
6. Black water gauge doesn't read right
7. Exterior speakers on the coach sound like they're blown
8. A Dash A/C vent won't adjust
9. The dump valves on the air suspension of the trailer is installed backwards -- leaving it vulnerable to road hazards
10. The streetside door of the trailer, to get out of the car, was to small and too low. Some major work there -- plus the graphics.
11. A couple of trailer tires need to be replaced from chunking
12. The idler roller to the rear door opener has seized up bearings.
It sounds like a lot -- but this rig was custom built to my specs and that's really now too bad. I've had since April and put 25,000 miles on it -- and pretty anal that stuff be perfect. I figure they have it for 3 weeks.
I wanted an electric awning on the trailer -- like I have on the coach -- but they want $6400 to put one on.
I bought the coach at Becks in Michigan -- but it is being services at Ballards -- just outside San Antonio. To this point -- I'm pretty happy with both places.
I use to have a luxery Motor Coach and a toter with stacker trailer -- but the cost of having the two was more than I could afford. While the old coach was a little nicer for family trips and comfort, and the toter was a little easier to maneuver when bring a couple of race cars and a shop to the track -- this is a good compromise to go racing or motorhoming.
