DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.

Idealy have regional events with a final late in the year mid south or south for a Championship. You would accumulate points in you region then come to the final for a shootout. With the long season and all the dragstrips in Texas plus old cars you could have your own division. Its easy to get travel burnout. Dave, try to make the Kansas City event to get the flavor of running with Funny cars, Gassers, and the Nostalgia Pro Comp group, its a good show and drew a decent crowd.
Did he really -- good for him. It was in the 63 -- right?
For some reason, everyone is into budget racing 1/8 mile to 10.5 Outlaws down here. You can't get enough people to give a rats-ass about Nostalgia. There are very few NSS cars in Texas -- and half of them are red with checkerboards.
Around 10 cars for NSS that I have seen so far Dave.
Yes, Clay was driving the "old" car............and to top it off, Rosie called earlier yesterday.........after chasing phone messages for a while I was able to get in touch with them...they were on thier way to Oklahoma to drop off Clayton's digger to be repaired by the guy that built it...and then rolled on down to our doorstep...a bit of Mexican and beverages last nite and they left around 9:30 and headed back...will be back down to pick up the dragster in a few weeks.............then we can really tie on a good drunk. We gave him hell about winning an event...........
