DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Click Here to view the 80+ photos on NSS and NMC launches that I asked my daughter to take — and I Photo Shopped. Feel free to copy the photos of your car and use them on your site/blog (you do have one — don't you) — BUT PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE MY WATERMARK. I think that's pretty fair for free photos of your car.
The Monster Mopar Weekend is around the corner. Now is the time to register. You can do so on-line with a credit card (secured site), and bring your printed receipt (they'll have a copy if you forget — but make things go faster by bringing your receipt) and get admitted to the pits on Thursday. If you are not pre-registered, you will not get pit access until Friday. Click the banner above to visit the Monster Mopar Site.
Facebook
Facebook is an Internet community where friends can hook up, and privately (both parties have to authorize any connection between the two) have conversations, or share photos, videos, and links. I have a category for family, Mopar Buds, softball/basketball buds, and racing buds in my facebook. It is so popular that I've hooked up with friends I haven't seen since 5th and 7th grade, relatives I've never met — and the twins I dated just before going into the military.
The average age of NSS racers being what it is, I hear the echoes now about how you're not a blogger, or Internet security, its too complicated, or that this is kid's stuff — but it is not any of that. I have many NSS friends (admittedly the younger ones) who are my "friends" on Facebook — and it is an excellent way to find out who won what race or who will be at an upcoming race. It is not to be confused with kids stuff like MySpace — which is a hacker's highway. Facebook is strictly adult, very secure and anti-spam
I strongly suggest that everyone sign up (free) at www.facebook.com, then do a search for dave.schultz1 (that would be me) — and request friendship. I'll approve you, and then send (as suggestions) the addresses of the other NSS racers to request friendship with. Once hooked up — people like Doug Duell, Stephanie, and I give updates at the track through our cell phones. It is really pretty kool stuff.
List of NSS sites you should have in your favorites.
Again, I have a limited number of email addresses of NSS racers, so please pass this information along to any NSS racer whose email address you might have. I'm sure they rather get it twice than not at all.
