DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Way to go Dallas. Job well done!! It was a pleasure to meet everyone and thanks for coming to the Carolina's. It looks like it paid off..but really Dallas earned this win. I am not very big on the spectator thing. Don't get me wrong I love to see my friends do well. The uphill staging lanes at Z-Max is the only flaw in what is a great track. I went to the staging lanes to help Dallas if I could. It was very hot and Dave and Dallas told me they were used to the heat. I asked Dallas if he wanted his passenger door open for some air and he declined. I am a little slow but I realized, this guy is in the ZONE and the best help I could be was to shut the hell up and I did. Once again...Good to meet y'all..Thanks for coming..Have a safe trip home and MOPAR RULES!!

Congrats Dallas!
Peaches and me had reservations for the weekend and were going to try and put something together with y'all at the Speedway Club (across the road), but we had to cancel our trip. We were looking forward to checking out the facility, as we were really impressed with Bristol.
My family homeplace is Gaston County across the Catawba River and there are still a few of the family in the area.
