DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Just looked at Weather Bug, and it has changed since this AM. Like I said earlier about the forcast...for what it's worth....... NOT MUCH! We'll know what the weather will be like.... THIS WEEKEND!

Not sure where you are getting your weather but I just got off weather.com and it's 50% rain on Friday, 40% on Sat. and 10% on Sunday. I was thinking of going to Montgomery AL and meet Mark, but it is 40-50% every day. All I've done this year is drive to races to watch it rain. If the weather is not looking good somewhere by Thursday, I'm staying home.

It races every year at the Monster -- but we always get the racing in.
This year I think it has rained at every NMCA event -- but the only one that was a rain out was Bowling Green. All of the others we had to give up TT (down to one) and Eliminations (one or two) -- but we always got the racing in.
I've too many times not gone to a race because it was forecast to rain -- and missed a good event when it only rained a little. We just go -- and we have farther drives than most. Even when Bowling Green got rained out -- we didn't let it get us down too much -- despite being a 2000 mile trip for nothing. That's why I travel with family -- then if the race rains out -- we still had family time.
I am going anyway. If we rain out my wife's got outings already planned. Friday seems like the worse rain chance day, If I wake up and it's raining, we will probably go on one of her outings in the morning.....

Dave I hope you are right and we can get the race in by Sunday night. I have not had any luck this year going to a race that called for 40% or more rain. First, it was NMCA BG then the Buick Nationals in BG 2 weeks later. Then a local 1/8 race and finally the Chandler IN race. I think that is 4 out of 6 or 7 times I have been out this year. I would have raced more but it was always raining. I'm dumb enough to try it again, but I think the rest of you would be smarter to pay me to stay home.

I try to get to at least West Memphis on Sunday -- and that puts me 10 hours driving time away. However lately -- Dallas and I have driven non-stop from Reading, PA., Milan, MI., Joliet, IL., and Charlotte, NC -- so I'm sure we'll drive all day and all night and get home under rush hour on Monday.
We have the Squawk and Hope with us -- and the whining doesn't stop until we get home.
Damn, that rig aint got a tv and sewing station in it to keep em busy?
