DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
What a bunch of silly stupid crap.
Not exciting just moronic.
It might have been interesting if one of the cars took a left or right.....provided nobody was killed or hurt.

Nothing new,was done many times in the 60s.Saw many class run offs at Green Valley,in Smithfield,Tx,strip was that wide, and no retaining walls or rails, except near the stands, and pits.
I saw -- it and felt sorry for the two guys on the green 3/4 track. That track absolutely sucked for traction and I'm sure the NHRA had to do a lot of work for those guys to get down it.
When I was racing there last month -- they made history with 4 wide Jet cars.
That;s some goofy arse chit. I still cannot imagine why they went through the expense of all that and not to run a real program that way. It would be cool if some track could really utilize 4 lanes. You could have different programs runnign at once and save a lot on wait time.
