I went by the track this morning about 9:00. Saw Dave and the Hippie bunch were already "stacked". That what Memphis calls it when they actually let you on the property, but it's down track somewhere! Local law enforcement got on 'em last year for making people park on the road (when they have acres and acres of parking!). It was dangerous and the local businesses couldn't get in and out of their driveways.

I'll make it in later today, after the initial crowd gets it in.

Cool (59 degrees) and damp/foggy right now. Should be a GREAT weekend for racing (highs in the upper 50's/low 60's). Records should fall!

Hope there is not too much water seeping up through the track, with all the rain we've had!

Yup we got here at about mid-night and had to back the rig about 1/2 mile in the dark to make that sharp right hand turn.

It rained all night and all of the grass here is saturated bad. I really suggest people getting here earlier so they don't have to park in mud. Someone might call Clay & Rosie -- as I don't have their number.

I just texted Doug -- and he'll be here at 3PM.

It is very cloudy right now -- so I'll assume the rain hasn't finished. It wouldn't be a NMCA race without rain. I swear it rained at every event -- plus the Monster.

Well, I think it may have stopped raining. Sun is tryng to peek through, off and on. Still cool, about 62 degrees.

We're teched in -- and cars are in the trailer.

T&T Friday at Noon, First Qualifying 6PM and finishing at 9:30PM

Second qualifying is Saturday 10:30. Reverse order third qualifying is at 3:30 and 5:30 Saturday.

Eliminations start at 11AM Sunday.

They're saying first time trial in an hour. It is pretty dark and cold --and I think I'll let some others put some rubber down on this cold green track for an hour or two before I get out there.
