DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
Anyone know if they are going to still use that screwy point system this upcomming season?? Hope not, I know they would get more cars including us if they went back to the best five of seven format.
I'm 99.999999999% sure they will use the same points system. They attribute the points system as giving them their best year in America's worst since they've been around. That said, and I'm not a fan of it, in NSS and NMC -- Justice was served and the Top Five before at the end of Four races, and the end of the series -- was about the same. I gave up third for forth because of a bad showing at Zmax and Milan. I think I would have been fourth either way -- and I know the first three in NSS wouldn't have changed either.
Thanks for the info, we were hoping to run that series along with the Chrysler Classic Events and The Nitro Joe/Ross Family Super Stock/Stock shootouts. But I bet we only end up running Florida and Bowling Green.
What in the hell is NITRO JOE up to........haven't seen him in a while
M.
Mark,
Joe has been very busy this past season setting up this new circuit of his.
We enjoy having a circuit like this in our back yard, First season averaged around 45 cars per event, I would bet it gets to 80+ cars per event this next season. He also does a lot of work setting up the AH Hemi shootouts across the country. I will be sure to tell him you said Hi. He is on the Moparts board and the NHRA Super stock board occasionally. poppaj
Anyone heard about this?..................AHRA is back in business.......have been in touch with a couple of the new organizers....they want to run NSS for sure at thier events...talking about some races in Tx,La,Ok.............and ohio............
