I have several, as of now, rough plans or dealing with the (problem??) of a lot of cars. I want to avoid a bunch of singles for the sake of the show. There will be a break rule. The broken racer will get paid for the win. The reinstated car runs for free one round, but has the chance to get back in the payout loop.
Also, should we somehow turn out to be successful and not eat our young, I'm working on expansion plans already that include Nostalgia Junior Stock (NMC) and another exhibition (for a fee or if a sponsor comes on) involving push brooms, gold dust, shiny suits, and axles in "Funny" places.

Dago, if you STICK TO THE RULES that have been set by many in the rules committee, used for years by the NMCA and now by the NHRA and many of the other organizations, including the TexasOutsiders, your series will work...........If you set a precedent by making up the rules as you go along...........nobody will agree and things will get out of hand pdq.........
Make it an all run field for NSS...........based on qualifying , just like it is now.......and let it go at that............

The ALL RUN field takes away any problems with broken cars and any re instatements for others..........

........did the guy from Ardmore call you? I gave him your email and phone #. They are hosting 2 nostalgia events this season and wanted our NSS cars to race there if possible.
I don't know where the subject of buybacks was mentioned--ain't happening on my watch.
If I was to get more than sixteen cars, I have a plan for it, but I'm not holding my breath. In my experience, I get twice as many no shows that SWORE they'd be there, than actual cars through the gate.
I know the rules and I'll enforce them. But, I'm not going to be nitpicked or second guessed. I'm not asking for everyone's agreement, just their participation. Please don't bully me, or try. The rules are already in place. Any additions or amendments will be in hand before we start. Everyone agree with me? Yeah right, that's a pipe dream there. I'll repeat: for this to work there has to be ONE PERSON in charge. Again, if I somehow pull this off, we'll have a heckuva good time. or we can go back to driving to Michigan, New Jersey and Virginia.

sorry to offend you, but we have worked for many years for these rules that we have in place........even some not to my liking, but I will run em.......and would like to keep it that way if ANYONE is wanting to run NSS.
just that simple. And I absolutely agree, someone Must be in charge...and I am not trying to interfer.......and I dam sure don't want the job............did that...........still paying for it.......
