If AHRA will run NSS (w/ std. rules) and set a date or the LA race (2nd on their schedule), my crew and I will be there!
Look forward to seeing a fresh sanctioning body! Hope the will invite NSS....they will find an immediate, crowd pleasing field, of really cool (old school) cars, and nice folks!

Well NSS'ers, looks like NMCA Bowling Green just got trumped (for me). Sure hope the Arkansas Haighway Dept does a lot of paving between now and May 1 on I-40 and I-30!!!!!!
The AHRA has been posting encouragement for NSS for a couple of weeks -- but has yet to make any type of official announcement. I've received a couple of calls and a couple emails asking what I know -- and I've had to answer "Nothing".
I sent an email to the President of the AHRA, telling of how many of us need to commit to something pretty damn quick, and asking if there will be an announcement forthcoming.
I also posted Will there be a NSS announcement soon? on their forum. I'd suggest those interested in seeing a NSS Class in the AHRA to post so on that thread. We don't want them to feel like we're twisting their arm or swinging from their tie -- but to let them know that many of us can't remain in Limbo too much longer.
