DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
My brother is a road racer and runs all of the 24-Hours of Lemons races. In Angleton, TX
He says that his team had the fastest car for sure -- and he took someone else's shift because it had been raining and he had better rain experience. He was coming up on a pack of slower cars at a little over 100HPH and just as he passed them and was coming up on a curve he lifted and the gas pedal was stuck to the floor (must be Toyota parts). He flipped the car and slid across the grass infield at about 90 with mud plowing into the car -- and finally hit a Mustang as he crossed the track in front of it.
It took over 5 minutes of being upside down before they could get him out.
He hurt his left arm and is banged up -- but he's got another race next weekend and Seguna in two weeks.
I'm hoping someone has a video of it and uploads to You Tube.

I may go check out Lemons New England at Stafford Motor Speedway in July. I wanted to go to last year's event but we were camping in New Hampshire that weekend. If I'm here in state this year, I'm gonna try to be there.
Glad to hear your brother is okay. What was he running for a car?
I think that one was a Mustang -- but I'm not sure, since he said he hit a Mustang, and not that he hit another Mustang. I think they have a Nissan too.
