DUMPSTERThis is where threads go to die. Old threads are moved here (and displayed in reverse order) before they're forever deleted. While they'll most likely not be moved out out of the dumpster -- those posted to will gain a short reprieve of a month or two. Obviously no threads are to be started in this forum.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.

The AHRA has terminated their business relationship with the principals of Thunder Road Raceway Park in Shreveport, LA. including the official AHRA sanction of the track and facility, AHRA CEO Troy Moe stated Tuesday afternoon.
All scheduled AHRA events planned at the venue have been effectively cancelled.
“It’s an unfortunate bump on our road to kicking off our “Reunion Tour”, but we had to make a tough business decision in line with our long-term goals,” Moe said. “We have so many good things going on right now, we have to remain focused on the positive, exciting energy that is the AHRA.
“There are several pending announcements about the “Reunion Tour” for fans to look for that will keep the momentum moving forward, specifically with our first event on the tour at San Antonio at the end of May. We’ve also got our first Nitro Showdown coming up in Midland, Texas on May 15th, so the schedule remains very full with lots of great drag racing,” he added.
Actually, if the truth be known, AHRA was served with an Eviction Notice. So the CEO can spin it anyway he wants.
I am also told that the employees that were working at the facility never got paid by AHRA either.

Pro Mod Fan is correct. Friend from Calgary directed me to this forum. I was the one that came on board with AHRA to go to Thunder Road & manage track. Eviction notice was served to me as on site rep. Pulled the plug & returned home. I have as of yet to receive any compensation from AHRA for the wasted month of my life, out of pocket expense put out by me while there to get some track systems up & running.
My advice to anyone dealing with AHRA presently or contemplating doing so, Run do not walk away from it!!!!!
I had one conversation with AHRA's CEO about NSS -- and decided that I wanted no part of it. He sounded too full of himself and too condescending -- at one point giving me a lecture. I figured then that the AHRA was a pipe dream. Its past 20 years up in Seattle make for strange reading material.
I'm betting against them getting anything done. You can see their forum has even died.
