Not to hijack, but I am curious about the Fairlane sedan in the #4 post. I have not seen that pic before and wondered if anyone had more info on the sedan?

I owned Goldrush (formerly the Ford Fastbacks car owned by Jack Roush and others). I raced it from 1970 to 1973. Then I sold it. I have plenty of pictures of it. We have just moved and they are in boxes. I will try to get them posted this summer. I have been trying to track down the car. I lived in peoria Illinois when I sold it to a person that worked for Cat.

Paul, My dad ownes the Fairlane bought it back in 1985 from Ike Davis from Peoria Il sure would like to see more pics and talk to you about it.

I sold the car to Ike Davis. I remember he worked at Cat. My son in law and daughter and family live in Peoria.. I have a lot of nice pictures of Goldrush. We have just moved so everything is in boxes. Call my on my cell. 847-609-0029. I live outside of Chicago now. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I have a audio tape of running the quarter mile in Goldrush, Doing some burnouts and then doing the quarter.
