A few problems

I have received several errors today.... Database errors and SQL errors. The forum was now, for at least me.... I came back latter a few times and no joy. But things worked again, then crash for me again...

Server database problems- I have been trying to keep OH informed, but his only way to deal with it right now is remote from the track...

Sorry for the problems, guys. I've recieved them several times as well. Most well known will be the PM's that said they didn't go thru, but did.

I'm guessing its a problem related to the recent server maintenence on Thursday. We'll have to deal w/ it as best we can. I'm not authorized to muck around the server stuff. I'm sure the OH will get it sorted as soon as he sees the problem.

Still having problems. It took almost 10 minutes for the site to load, then it locks up after a few minutes. Can't seem to do anything, and things are incredibly slow.

What browser are you using IE or Foxfire?

Have you tried the other?

Have you tried to clear your cookies and history?

I can't see anything wrong with the site right now -- so I suspect a corrupt cookie on your end.

Done all of the above, do it every time I sign out. Been trying to sign in since 5 am today, and was finally able to at 2:20 pm today. Took 10 minutes to get to the point I could actually create/respond to this message. I tried Firefox (which is my normal browser), Opera and IE. Same results with all 3. It also keeps telling me I'm not logged in, even though I successfully complete the log in process, and the forum tells me I'm logged in. I have to log in numerous times before I can get to this point. I even removed my bookmark for the web site and returned using the actual web address, same results. If it isn't too much bother, it might be best to e-mail me since it takes forever for me to log in, and all I get is "waiting for conservativeoldhippie.com" when I try to move around in the form. And if I do get to actually post, the forum locks up completely after that. I've cleared all my cookies, used 2 different programs to search and clean cookies, scanned my system for viruses/trojans and spyware 3 times. System is clean. I don't know what else to try at this point.

Have you tried Google Chrome? It is what I use, and it is fast as hell. For me anyway.

Still having problems. It's taken 2 days to be able to sign in again, and then the wait was incredibly long. Google Chrome doesn't help. It seems odd that everything was fine until Thursday the 30th, then after that I started having problems, which continue. A shame, since I really enjoyed this site. Too bad I won't be able to continue coming here, since after one post, if I can even sign in, the site just locks up completely.
