OK, only if you live in Texas, or would immediately apply for Citizenship and more to Texas if it were to be come a Republic -- tell us which Texans you'd prefer seeing serve the Republic? Be serious now -- as this is a serious question.

Naturally there one be one 3-year term limit, and while there would be a salary of $100,000 and health insurance -- no other personal benefit, except a Presidential residence.

It would be free with no leaders but all would be only grains of sand why must we have leaders I ask? Imagine a country with no leaders, where all folks just done what they wanted led by none. Again i ask why must we have leaders let all folks be their own leader.

I see them as our elected officials for three years and not our leaders. Without organization you have anarchy like the occupy wall street idiots. I would want a Republic and not a Democracy, and I'd want a Contitution that was closely followed. I'd want Supreme Court appointments to be no more than ten years and all other judges elected for 1 term only. No Czars, and polital staff and all expenses (including travel) by a budget approved by the voters in the elections.

I would have limited public assistance for the minimal amount of people, but they give up their right to vote for three years following coming off public assistance

Hell -- all of us running the Republic of Texas (even Matt in Human Resources) would be better than the fools running the US.

I'm serious though. I would really like to see Texas to secede and prove th to the rest of the US that there is a better ways than Socialism. I would want to see the first politicians of the New Republic of Texas to be the correct Fathers to start the thing off.

Actually... In serious context to the thread, I'd go with Perry for President of Texas. I wouldn't want him as my national President...but he'd fit well among the like minded people there and probably help make Texas a greater success story.

Ron Paul needs to be Secretary of State for Texas.. You need an honest guy who won't take crap off anyone.

Chuck...definitely Secretary of Defense.

Karl Rove would make Intelligence. He's just a master at the skill set that job requires.

Oh and you can throw a whirly hat on Baby Bush and make him the Court Jester.

Based on Ron Paul's views on Muslims vs. Jews -- I think he'd make a much better Treasurer so that we'd be on some type of Gold standard instead of having a Fed.
