Default Why we carry a gun on us in Texas
and especially around the race shop. Dallas had this little guy surprise him when hooking up one of the trailers to pull next to the shop to clean up.

Not sure -- it is a Viper of some type without a rattle. It gets harder to tell the species of some of these Vipers any more because we have some many out here and so many look a little like two types. We have rattlers, cotton mouths and copperheads here for sure.

Hard to tell - it didn't have rattles, and usually cottonmouths are darker. I saw some copper in the skin, is all. It's too big to be a Coral Snake. At any rate, I'm glad Dallas wasn't bitten.

Aww..... Someone shot it in the middle. Now you can't make a headband or belt out of him.

Nice example of why Guns are for far more than tools for defense against people though.

That could have been quite a mess without the means to kill it safely. I'm glad it turned out well!
