I'm glad that you live 180 miles away but the whole situation there really breaks my heart.
So many people depended on the tourists and fishing and shrimping for a living and then those that worked on the oil rigs will be out of work too, I'm sending lots of prayers.

I live in East Baton Rouge parish, roughy 180 miles from the Gulf ... give or take. Have family in No and Chalmette; Lafeyette and Pineville... Some are really getting hit hard with all this crud...
