Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.
I had this 41 Chevy Street Rod for a couple of years. It was killer scary fast with a powerful Mouse motor. The biggest problem was the bed was virtually useless from the tubs and 16 gal fuel cell -- and I was too big for the small cab.
I bought this 91 Ford F150 new in 91 and immediately customized it in and out. It was a 302 bolt action.
My next truck (and maybe my favorite all time truck) was a 94 Centuras. I Kustomized a Suburban like it for my wife.
Next up I ordered a black 99 Ford F350 (waiting through railroad strike and a build delay when Ford didn't build any 98s). I immediately customized with a 6-color paint, custom dash, grab handles, custom seat and electric bed/sofa, black carpet...
I didn't do a lot of customizing of this truck -- but punished it unmercifully with pulling that stacker at 75MPH across the country. I gave to my son for his high school graduation and it had well over 100,000 miles on it when he sold. An aux fuel pump and one clutch was all this truck ever needed. It was the most dependable and strongest pick up I've ever had. A local racer owns it now -- and it has over 200,000 miles on it.
I bought this old F250 a couple years back. Had the IDI 6.9 diesel. I'm a Ford truck guy thru & thru, but this thing was a turd. IIRC, I hadn't even clocked 4K miles on it before I sold it off. Not really the trucks fault- it had just been rode hard & put up wet too often by previous owners.
I had this little gem a few years ago. It had 4 flat tires, a bad lifter, & hadn't moved in 2 yrs when I got hold of it. I rebuilt the motor myself & had the tranny redone at the same time. Good little truck- but that was the problem.... it was a little truck. My wifes Chrysler broke down, & we're a family of 4 w/ a reg cab truck as our other vehicle- not enuff room for all of us. Sold it & bought myself a Trooper 4X4.
My Grandpa had a 1949 Chevrolet pickup (really green!) that he had since before I can remember. He had married late in life and died in 1953, and my uncle got the truck. My uncle had hogs and turned it into a slop truck. He'd go around to all the restaurants in Stinkadena and pick up their scrap food. He sold the truck to an old black preacher who lived down the road in the mid '60's. The last I heard of the old truck, the preacher was moving, and it was loaded up and going on down the road to parts unknown.

I remember how you and Ray hated trucks in the 70s and made fun of them.
But again, I remember your Rancharo -- which I used many time repoing rental furniture.
It didn't come with a console, so I built one with a removable tray to hold lunch when traveling. It also had a built-in GPS that I never could get to work.
Don't have pics, but the only ones I don't have anymore are a 1987 Mitsubishi MM (stolen-recovered injuries to thieves...lol)
and my 1988 Dakota. Traded my Dakota in on my 94 Ram. She'll always be with me.
