Hello, I'm in the process of planning a week-long vacation in September that will be centered around golfing as much as possible in the best place I can afford. Problem is, I'm having a hard time choosing where to go. I'm leaning towards Pebble Beach, but am not sure it's feasible. Has anyone golfed there before? What's the cost like? Is there a huge waiting list for tee-times? Can anyone help me out? If you do, I'll dedicate one of my hole-in-ones to you .
For that matter, does anyone have any unbeatable golfing experiences they'd recommend?

Well I did find this link that answers pebble beach green fees but I'd like to hear from anyone who's played there about whether it's an accurate pricing. Thanks.
I have played Spyglass and Spanish Bay but not the Pebble Beach course. It was about 20 years ago however and I don't recall what the green fees were. It was beautiful. I agree with Bone Doc that Vegas has excellent courses and in the summer they can be very reasonable. There is also plenty of other entertainment options available while you are not golfing, especially if you are bringing a wife/girlfriend.
My friends and I just read "a course called Spain" by Tom Coyne and a book very interesting and fun at times. The author spent four months playing golf, walking in Ireland. At the end of the book, lists the course, he went again, bars, great B&B, etc. I am planning a trip next October and we Ballybunion and former boss at the top of the list, which was confirmed by the book.
