US Military ForumThis forum contains discussions concerning the US Military. A very high percentage of the active members of this board were proud to have served in the Military, and we will not have their service disrespected with the trolling of Anti-America cowards.
Please don't copy and paste any articles from any of the Military Times -- or from any other blog or News site. Likewise, do not post links to those sites either. Instead give a summary of the information you wish to offer -- and then give a keyword list that others can google to reference. I'm sorry that we have to do it this way -- but aggressive ambulance chasing lawyer varmints have nothing better to do then sue blogs and forums.
Donations of any size will help to defray the enormous legal costs from a lawsuit filed against the administrator of OldHippie.com, by what many refer to as a "Copyright Troll" law firm, for the posting of a TSA "Pat Down" photo they had bought the copyright rights to, after the photo was posted on this site, and then removed.

I served from 1998 to 2008 as a Field Artillery Fire Direction Controlman ultimately reaching the rank of Sergeant. I started off on the yellow footprints of Parris Island, then to Camp Geiger for MCT, and Fort Sill, Ok for MOS School. First duty station was Camp Lejeune, from there did two deployments to Okinawa. Next moved on to Camp Pendleton and deployed in OIF1. Then back to Okinawa for a bit, then back to Pendleton for and onward to Iraq aagin.
I loved my MOS and the great Marines I worked with. I wasn't fond of Iraq and the time away from loved ones.

tbnvie Our country owes much thanks to your family. There are countless families that have served. Yours just personifies what the American family once was. Anymore, I am beginning to have my doubts.
