Time For a Tea Party

Over at Conservative Old Hippie, Throw the Bums Out, God Bless Texas, Chairman Obama, and United Socialist States of Amerika web sites we have a grass roots campaign going to tell Washington that we're sick and tired of them and their lies. It is time for a Peaceful and lawful revolution to Throw All of The Bums Out -- starting now. Let them know that you are displeased with the Socialist direction of the country -- and that we intend to throw them all (Democrat and Republican) out of office -- by simply mailing a Tea Bag to the White House, both of your Senators, and your Congressman.

All you need is a couple of tea bags, a couple envelopes, a couple of stamps, and a couple of minutes. You need not even enclose a note as they'll get the message -- and you'll feel a lot better after doing it. Address your tea bag to the White House to:

Chairman Obama
White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
Washington , DC 20500

Click here to get the address of your Senators, and Click here to get the address of your Congressman. I challenge every person to help get this message to start moving across the country by forwarding this email to everyone in their address book -- asking them to do the same. If half of everyone that gets this passes it along to those in their address book -- there will be a million pounds of tea in Washington this time next week. Get off your butt and do it right now before you forget.

I stopped by my father's on the way home from the doctor to see if he wanted to go to lunch. He had 7 tea bags on the table and was addressing envelopes. He mailed it to his Mean-Spirited right wing group -- and most said they were doing the same.

Has anyone besides my father and I sent these teabags off and asked at least 10 others to do the same?

I'll bet not. You can't get people to do much more than cry about the situation rather get proactive to change it. We did nothing in 2006. We did nothing in 2008. We'll do nothing between now and 2012.

People can't even find 5 minutes to address a couple of envelopes to send a message -- and then spread the word to others to do the same. We're fukked!

I wish Texans would just forget the tea bags and collect the signatures to just become our own republic again. Elect our own new goxernment and start over. It would be a long hard road but well worth it to be away from the big brother in washington.

Well I'm with you on that cause while at the same time Tea Bagging Washington. We could sure use a voice like yours over at www.god-bless-texas.ning.com -- where I'm trying to get the conversation of Texas Seceding going.

I posted the idea on the facebook American Tea Party group, and I'm posting on as many forums as will allow such things.

BTW, our district representative (Rep. Leo Berman) just introduced a modified resolution in the Texas Legislature that is a stronger go-to-hell statement for the feds.

I wish the news media would keep track of, and report what's happening with these resolutions. I was told that Oklahoma passed theirs.

Ohhh...I wouldn't say that. I sent plenty of them out yesterday. President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, House Banking Committee, Judiciary Committee, Senate Oversight Committee..........I got a bit carried away.

Or maybe not.

FWIW- my wife works on Capitol Hill. EVERY letter/package is x-rayed/radiated and opened off site. The radiation actually melts the cellophane on envelopes. FedEx/UPS trucks get inspected off site, sealed, and have x amount of time to get to the buildings or they have to go back & get re-scanned. Don't know if the inspectors would let the tea bags go thru or not. My 2¢
