Malpractice Insurance

That's not too far from the truth. My malpractice insurance will most likely cost somewhere between $120,000 and $150,000 a year after I finish residency. If you really want to lower the cost of healthcare, get rid of the lawyers so that our malpractice insurance will be cheaper.

When a disgusting piece of trash like John Edwards is able to come along and ruin the lives of good doctors trying to save lives, we are in more trouble than we realize.
