Floors and trunk pan in and out were taken to bare metal, any old bolt hole welded up, and painted with POR15.
Subframe connectors
K-Frame taken to bare metal, cleaned up, painted with POR15, and then rebuilt.

This has been a Texas Race car all of its life -- and still wears a 1972 Texas Inspection Sticker on its windshield. The body is solid. It was originally a white 318 car when it left the dealer -- but immediately turned into a bracket racer and never driven on the road.
The way it is currently set up -- it races in the 11.0 NMC class short shifting it on a conservative tune. It was aired out with a conservative tune one time for a 10.6 -- but would take little to get this car to run 10.0 if that's what you'd like. We chose to win and not break parts with consistent 11.0s.
With an engine swap -- it could easily be turned into a "Pump Gas - Street Legal" car for that type of racing -- or sign with with the NMCA and go win the 2009 NMC Championship..
You cannot build this car for $35,000!
