Levels of Membership
There are two levels of membership with the forums and Free Classified Ad portions of the site. Free, which allows you to participate in all but the seven Premium forums. Premium Membership allows access to these seven popular Premium forums, elimination of the advertising right side bar, plus other Premium features.
Premium membership dues help with the paying of the expenses to operate OldHippie.com and try to recoup the legal expenses to defend it recently from a “Copyright Troll”; and extra benefits return the favor.

* While in the forums, Registered Members and Visitors are presented with a right side with advertisements while in the forum — to help bear the costs of running a community this full-featured. Upgrading to Premium or Director memberships, the right side bar is removed while in the forums — making the forums wider and display faster. To upgrade to no longer have the right side bar, and receive the benefits outlined above, Visitors must register and log in, and Registered Members can click the lick below to upgrade.

There is also a least cost year-to-year subscription for non-Premium members to have access to the Premium forums, but without any other Premium benefit for $20 per year.
